When you’ve spent a lot of money on a great new Sony subwoofer, it can be rather frustrating when it suddenly decides to not turn on. I’ve been there before and it’s certainly not much fun, especially when you’re about to sit down and get into that new film.

No problem, try these to fix the issue:
Try the following:
- Disconnect the AC power cord on the subwoofer, then reconnect it after one minute.
- Ensure the mains lead AC power cord is connected properly on the subwoofer.
- Ensure the subwoofer power cord has a secure connection to a working outlet. If using a power strip or surge protector connected to the power cord, then plug it in directly to the wall.
- Turn the power on by pressing the (power) button on the subwoofer.
- Check whether the holes for ventilation on the subwoofer are not blocked.
